Born from the desire to offer my own two children an easily accessable bag that was fashionable, comfortable to wear and friendly on the environment. All this and also hold the stainless steel sippy cups we use. Not being able to find any such thing on the market and growing increasingly tired of cumbersome backpacs that were hard to use (and somehow I got stuck carrying), and handbags that were always forgotten, I came up with a design that satisfies all that I was looking for and more. And now my girls are stylish and I am no longer the pack horse.

My kids have been the test models and after having used theirs faithfully for months, and always getting comments on them, I decided it was time to do something and start making them so that others could enjoy. I feel that other parents would like to offer their children a quality product that is durable, funky and one of a kind.

It has been quite a process but after figuring out the mass production issues, time managment, and finding the fabric itself, I now have a large stock of fabric and an inventory ready to distribute and sell. Please call for wholesale and direct buy prices. Retail prices for bags may vary but genearlly for a children's bag, $22 for bags without the sippy cup holder, or $25 for bag with a sippy cup holder. Custom orders will be time dependant. Adult sizes will start at $32.

It is a priority that each bag is made with the highest standards. Each one is hand cut and sewn, double stiched and re-inforced. All the bags are machine washable. (With the exception of some custom bags and ones with certain accessories.) I am so excited to share Kasa bags with you and hope that you will be too.

I had a request to make a bag from an old dress and it turned out fabulous. This started the new line of bags, which can be made from any fabric that has special significance.
A "Linus Bag" is made from a special snuggly or lovely of your childs and can transform it into a special bag that will always be close with them but in a new way.
The "Honor Bag" can be made from clothing or other fabric from a speical person or a dearly departed loved one. I am currently working on a bag for a family who's husband was deployed overseas for 6 months. The bag will be a very special daily reminder for the child and a personal item to cherish. From the shirt of his fatigues I was able to make the bag.

It has been requested to not just limit my bags to children sizes. So on a one by one basis i will indeed create bags for Adults. I will not keep them in stock as I am primarily concentrating on the childrens bags, but i do not want to limit my market and honestly I simply love mine. They would be handcrafted just for you, with your choice of fabrics or i can surprise you.

I have initiated a clothing recycling program with drop boxes to be placed in store around the Comox Valley. I will use what fabric I can and transform them into bags that will be sold for local charities, causes and auctions. Clothing that cannot be used will be sorted and distibuted to respectable locations in the valley in order to be recycling in another manner.The first drop box has been placed at Organic Family Natural Home in Cumberland. I will keep you posted on the placement of others.
